Daily Life - PenPal
This morning a parcel arrived from my pen pal Jazz, it's my second parcel from her and I've sourced some things today to send back to her!
It arrived in the cutest cat paper, she must really know me!
Inside were these gorgeous friendship bracelets! I adore woven bracelets, and my old ones were getting really worn, so thanks Jazz!

Some delicious candy - which I wanted to snap a shot of before I ate it all! and a Valentines card made by Jazz herself check out her stuff here!
Last but not least, this adorable sketch moleskine designed by Jazz! I love moleskines, I've been thinking about what I want to put in this one, I just got some paints so I might keep it as an art book! I also received a great letter from her, which I'm just about to reply to.

Busy, busy, busy
This week I've been super busy making new goodies for the shop! I'm also hoping to add some paper goodies so stay tuned! There will be a few more earrings added this week as well as some friendship bracelets! I'm really pleased with the way the shop & this blog are coming together. It's in it's baby stages yet, but we'll get there one step at a time!
I've been online shopping this week and have found some super sweet goodies that I can't wait to share with you via outfit posts. Thursday is graduation night for me, so I'll be all dolled up and snap a few outfit pics before I leave. Style Files - Color Blocking
One of the hottest trends this year, and my personal favorite. Gone are the days of leaving the house in an all black ensemble. Here are the days of daring, bright and edgy yet chic color blocking! During my extensive research into the science that is color blocking; I've grown to realize it's not a science, but an art - there are no sure fire ways to color block, which means there's no way to get it wrong! This is an intuition based trend, so let your body be the canvas and get color blocking!
If a head-to-toe color palette makes you a little anxious, try this trend on for size with a statement dress or shoes, and neutral rest of the outfit!
If you have an irrational fear of the color palette, you can stick to blocking different shades of the same color into one outfit, or using contrasting neutrals. But if you want to step it up a little, you're in luck with this trend you can find already coordinated colors in color blocking pieces - so let the designers do the work, you just choose the pieces and look fabulous!

11 Things
I've been following Little Chief Honeybee's blog for a long while now, and recently saw her post about the 11 Things Meme, so I thought it would be fun! Here goes,

1. I am absolutely terrified of Blue Whales, even a picture or seeing one on T.V. freaks me out and I hyperventilate, feel my body clam up and my heart races, I also start to feel nauseous.
2. My favourite colour combination is mustard, teal, magenta and burnt orange. Don't judge - I just love the warmth of all these colours together.
3. Nothing in my living space matches, I have an ongoing magenta theme, but I prefer to keep it eclectic.
4. My hair is naturally blonde, I dyed it black when I was 21 to drastically reinvent my look, and have never looked back.
5. I have wanted a tattoo of a typewriter on my inner arm for 7 years - I'm indecisive, so I wanted to make sure. This year might be the year.
6. My travel to do list is, Morocco, Mexico, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Africa.
7. I'm finally okay with the fact that I'm not thin, it's taken me 24 years.
8. I never have my nails unpainted, I feel really unfinished if I do. I'll either have them painted or fake nails on.
9. I collect molskine notebooks, filled with lots of wonderful memories.
10. I want to road trip from one side of America to another.
11. I started my Tumblr in 2010 and it's the best thing I ever did. It's the best place to vent and is really just so therapeutic.

Yes, because I believe there is some significance in the way the stars were aligned at our time of birth. Everything happens for a reason.

Back to when I was 13, so I could tell myself that eventually it would all make sense, and I will be okay.

Physically or metaphorically?
Physically - My laptop, my cellphone, a big jar full of flower headbands.

A rabbit, I'm year of the rabbit.

Christmas when I was 4 years old.
6. Where do you hope to see yourself in 5 years?
My own apartment, design job or travelling around with a mediocre job and being a struggling singer/songwriter.
7. Have you kept in touch with your childhood best friend(s)?
No, much to my regret - but I think it's for the best, we're not the same people anymore.
8. If you had to describe yourself in 5 words, what would they be?
Quirky, Dark, Creative, Wise, Optimistic.
9. Describe your idea of a perfect day: Where would you go, what would you do, who would you do it with?
I would go to an abandoned town, to take photos and explore - with the love of my life, or just a best best friend.
10. What kind of "weird" foods do you like? (They could just be weird to your friends/family, kind of like my pickle sickles!)
Spicy tomato juice, some just don't understand its power. Also, spicy bean soup which is cold tomato soup, mild chilli beans and tobasco sauce. I have tobasco sauce on pretty much everything.
11. Do you collect anything? If so, what?
I collect anything owl or deer related, also moleskine notebooks.
